Westfälischer Hof in Bremerhaven

Corona lockdown .... We have once again ordered food from the "Westfälischer Hof" and had it delivered. Today there was Jägerschnitzel and we were absolutely thrilled. The food was delivered in the time slot agreed by phone, the supplier was very friendly. The quality of the food was-like last time-perfect! All components were delivered separately, so that both the schnitzel and steakhouse fries remained crispy. Super tender meat, homemade sauce with fresh mushrooms and a delicious, fresh side salad. Highly Recommended. We are happy to order again in the Westphalian court!

The deductions in the rating are only because of the delivery time. We waited more than 2 hours. Even after I asked by phone, after 1.5 hours, we had to wait another 45 minutes, although they said it was already on the way .. The food was warm and tasted very good. The portions were generous ... we will no longer order for delivery, but for self-collection.

Ordered for the first time today - We are more the restaurant visitors than the orderers. Ordered the hunter schnitzel and kale. We were very satisfied with the quality of the food, but it could have been a little more fried potatoes for the schnitzel :) We will order again and visit the place regularly as soon as possible.

Ordered at 4:45 p.m. food via Lieferando and specified the delivery date at 5:45 p.m. At 6:40 p.m. there was still no food. I called and the answer came that the food is going to be out soon. I replied that I would wait another 20 minutes, otherwise I will cancel the meal. A callback came that it would take longer than 20 minutes and it would be my fault if I gave 5:45 p.m. I canceled the meal straight away. I have seldom experienced such cheek. No excuse nothing. Really sad, I'd rather not offer a delivery service

We just had a delivery of kale with pee and can only report good things. The portions were very large with lots of side dishes. Price-performance ratio is right. Always my pleasure.

Good food but waited way too long for it (coincidence?). Friendly service, tried to keep guests happy despite the delay.

Today we came into the genus of solid and super delicious German cuisine. We ordered from Liferando and were expecting another disappointment (we had already seen too much with delivery services from Bremerhaven), but these expectations became fragile on delivery. The lady who gave us the food was very friendly, but when we saw the food and the crowd we were speechless. Still got to work and tasted, after tinkering a little, who owns what (we had ordered 2 schnitzel, 1 Viennese style and 1 Balkan style, we also got fried potatoes and steakhouse fries + 2 salads), after which I got my schnitzel with the Balkans art poured sauce (fortunately delivered separately) it was time to try. After the first bite of everything, we both couldn't get enough, the food is amazing, worth the price and high quality. Not a lot of goods, except for the fries everything was handmade, there is enough for the big eater to be really full. We will order again in all cases and cannot wait for it.

Ordered via Lieferando for the first time today. We had the hunter schnitzel and the redfish. The inside of the fish was glassy and tasted great, definitely no frozen. The schnitzel was super crispy and the sauce tasted very good (no scalded sauce with mushrooms). Delivery time was almost an hour shorter than stated. Restaurant quality as a delivery service! Always my pleasure.

Because of the voucher book, we were in the Westfälischer Hof for the first time. Based on the photos on the Internet, I would have imagined it very differently there. Only photos of the hall with festively laid tables were to be seen on the Internet. We had reserved a table. When we made the reservation, we were told that it could take longer to eat because there were guests from a kale hike that day. We didn't think that was that bad. So we were given a table very close to the counter. The bar was also full at the counter, as an ice hockey game was shown on the monitor. It was quite loud at times due to the ice hockey fans and we had to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes for our food! - However, we got a rustic wooden board with baguette and very tasty curd in advance. The waitress was nice and did her best with the rush! The food however compensated us for the long and loud waiting time! It was really excellent and plentiful! Conclusion: This is not the right place for a quiet meal in a nice atmosphere! We just wanted to chat a bit and found the pub atmosphere to be more rustic than disturbing! Tip: Use a little more staff on such an evening!

When you come into the restaurant you think you are wrong first 😉😉 ..... the host is super nice, the food is super delicious and the portions are huge ..... the price for it is almost cheap, since you get a "greeting from the kitchen" even at the beginning ..... the only problem is the operation ..... rude and without an eye for empty glasses and empty plates, so there was no demand for anything, rather sat behind the counter to chat with the regulars; Reorders took a long time; Also on hint that you want to pay their movements were not faster .... very bad ..... otherwise highly recommended 12/29/2019 Eaten again delicious, nice service who was on the ball this time. It's a shame that there is no Mokturtle anymore because of which we mainly went. May gladly again because the price-performance ratio is right 👍

2018-02-21: ate a portion of kale - very tasty! The portion would have been enough for 2 people - "fat"! Very friendly and attentive! Charm of the last century, but not as uncomfortable as modern bars for the quick passage of guests. 2018-02-27: I ate the sliced ​​pepper cream from the menu, but asked to leave out fresh peppers - it was really round and delicious. If it gives you delicious food again tomorrow evening, there is also the fifth star!
